Jambo Friends!
We safely finished the Mombasa Pathways To Peace course on Monday this week which had student leaders from high schools in North Eastern, Eastern and Coast provinces of our Republic. As always we had our independent evaluation firm Behaviour Change Consult come and spend the entire weekend with us. For our friends who are former NOLS East Africa graduates, you will be delighted to know that Omar Haji Mbaruk (Bob) was in attendance as well. As usual his youthful energy especially during snorkling session and signature laugh was captivating to our students but also well balanced by his serious elderly evening talks. Special thanks go to our major donor who singly funded both the Nairobi and Mombasa Student Leaders courses. Our next course will be a National Wilderness Expedition in Nguruman/Loita Hills of Narok county. This will bring a total of 16 Pathways To Peace graduates who participated in this years just concluded Orientation Courses held in Ndere Island, Lake Nakuru, Nairobi and Mombasa. We wish all graduates all the best in implementing their Action Plans.
